Job Title: Health & Safety Specialist

Job Location:  North Wales, PA

At Compliance Management International (CMI), we provide environmental, health and safety, engineering and risk management services in a manner unlike traditional consulting firms. Our distinctive outsourcing or “Partnership Program” provides long term client relationships that result in our firm’s stability and growth. As a result, CMI has grown into one of the largest health and safety firms in the region providing a full complement of industrial hygiene, safety and loss prevention services.

Due to our continued growth, we are currently seeking qualified candidates for Health & Safety Professionals based in our greater Philadelphia area office.

The successful candidate must have a B.S. degree in Occupational Safety and Health, or a related discipline, and a minimum of 3 years of relevant working experience, including project management and/or consulting experience. Other critical requirements include:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare technical reports, and present effective employee and supervisory training programs

• Demonstrated knowledge of HS&E client concerns

• Continued commitment to self-development in H&S regulatory knowledge and technical expertise, including active participation in professional associations and continuous education

• Ability to work in a collaborative manner with internal team members

• Flexibility and comfort working under tight deadlines with changing priorities

• Excellent customer service and follow-up skills and behaviors

• Ability to travel up to 25%, including periodic overnight travel


This position is responsible for conducting health and safety audits at our various client locations, and will ensure health, safety and DOT compliance through the implementation of training and written programs at our other client sites. The ability to work independently, the flexibility to adapt to our clients’ needs, and the ability to travel are required. Prior experience with insurance risk management and loss control is a significant advantage. Applicable certifications (ARM, ALCM, CSP) are a plus.
