Machine Guarding Best Practices and OSHA Standards

What was the webinar about?

Employee exposure to unguarded or inadequately guarded machines is prevalent in many workplaces. Consequently, workers who operate and maintain machinery suffer over 800 deaths and approximately 18,000 amputations, lacerations, crushing injuries, and abrasions a year. Amputation is one of the most severe and crippling types of injuries in the workplace, and often results in permanent disability. It’s up to the employer to recognize these hazards and implement effective safeguarding systems and procedures to prevent injuries and significant OSHA citations and fines. Join us as we discuss the many aspects of machine guarding compliance.

We discussed:

  • Applicable OSHA Regulations and Requirements
  • Machine Guarding Assessments
  • Machine Guarding Best Practices
